The course examines the foundations of Italian private law: legal subjects, property rights, obligations, contracts, torts, family law and inheritance. Students develop skills in interpreting the Civil Code, analysing case law and applying private law rules to concrete cases, with attention to comparative perspectives and EU influences on national private law.
